Essec Business School<\/strong><\/a> has recently inaugurated its new campus<\/a> in Nepal Hill, Singapore on February 27th, 2013.<\/p>\n

Though Essec has had a campus in Singapore since 2005, its relocation to Nepal Hill is going to be a landmark one- Nepal Hill is being positioned as a hub for talent development, that will house a cluster of business schools, corporate universities and professional service companies in the talent development space. The objective behind this hub is to promote an environment of research and to encourage a cross fertilization of ideas between the corporates and educational institutes housed within. Unilever has already made Nepal Hill its home and Essec Business School is scheduled to start the campus by December 2014.<\/p>\n

The new campus will enable Essec to increase its student intake and the faculty strength in the Asia Pacific region three folds, to 1500 students and 30 faculty members.<\/p>\n

Essec takes pride in having a wide international presence. It has 3 campuses worldwide- two of them are in France and the third one in Singapore.<\/p>\n

About Essec\u2019s Global MBA<\/strong><\/a>: This is a full time, one year MBA. The program takes place at ESSEC\u2019s main campus in Cergy, and in Singapore. The class sizes are small at 40 students and there is one intake every September. Average age of participants is 30 years and a minimum of 4 years of work experience is required to apply.<\/p>\n

The program has a special focus on emerging markets<\/a>. Students make a week-long field trip to an emerging market and take on a range of cultural and professional activities to get acquainted with the country\u2019s culture and the business practices followed there. There are two other international trips: a 6-week long Singapore term; and the 3-4 week-long International Immersion Project , where students work on a consulting projects in emerging markets.<\/p>\n

Essec runs 2 other well known programs among others: an 11 month MBA in International Luxury Brand Management<\/a>, the only sector specific MBA of its kind and MBA in Hospitality Management<\/a>, which can be taken in the 1 year or 2 year track.<\/p>\n
