Rucheyta Bhatia
Rucheyta Bhatia is a Mumbai girl through-and-through. Born in Mumbai and majored in Economics at Jai Hind, she dabbled in market research and advertising at Nielsen/Ogilvy before starting out on her own.
Her first entrepreneurial venture was in the field of corporate training, which she ran successfully for a several years before selling it. Life took a turn when she was having dinner with a few friends and an idea of a premium dessert cafe took shape. She worked with the Marriott Group for a while to learn the ropes before jumping into her 2nd entrepreneurial venture – Love and Cheesecake.
Ruchyeta believes in the power of constant feedback and the zeal to do that little extra. She pushes everyone to cherish their interactions with a customers – they are a chance to learn something new and improve.
You can always catch Ruchyeta zipping across town visiting various stores and helping our store staff. She can also be found at our Central Kitchen / HQ where she leads store ops, strategy and marketing that ensures your Red Velvet Cheesecake reached you on-time and is perfect!
Chef. Amit Bhatia
Chef Amit has food in his blood. His father ran a successful catering business in Punjab, so it was only natural for his son to enter this industry.
After graduating from culinary school, he worked at Taj, Westin and Marriott Group for several years before co-founding Love and Cheesecake with Ruchyeta.
Amit believes in constant innovation. That one has to continuously create new products to capture the imagination for customers. And for Amit, this comes only naturally.
You can always catch him in the kitchen playing with new flavors and experimenting with innovative techniques. Some of LNC’s best-sellers, including the coconut-ganache filled chocolate modaks, Fresh Granola and Fruits Cheesecake and Goat’s Cheese and Rosemary Cheesecake have come from such wild experiments. Some of his innovations – including the chocolate modaks and fresh mango cheesecake – were even featured on NDTV.

Pawan Shahri has over 10 years of experience leading teams and scaling up businesses with a focus on bottom-line profitability.He is the Managing Director and Founder of Chrome Asia, a boutique hospitality company in Mumbai. Chrome Asia owns and manages six restaurant brands: GIGI, Eve, Donna Deli, Shy, Kyma, and Demy. In 2023, Chrome Asia plans to launch five new brands in Mumbai’s premium markets and a boutique stay and restaurant called KAIA in Goa, in partnership with investor and actor Bhumi Pednekar.

Fable is a place located around Powai. If you want to hang out and have a good time then this is the place is for you. The restaurant is spacious as well as it has an outdoor sitting arrangement with good music & amazing vibes all over the place. Also, they have an eye-catching dessert counter. The place’s decor is fabulous. The food and drinks are great. There is live music on the top floor as well.
This quaint restaurant in Powai, mirrors the ambience of Fable in Juhu. Natural kota stone is used to pave the large outdoor patio which is shaded by trees. Custom made metal furniture in pastel shades creates a restful ambience and the metal chandeliers hanging from tree branches lends a storybook charm to the place. The outdoor wood fired oven is a great place to hang out and enjoy fresh baked pizzas.

The first thing we did when we started our company was to highlight our award winning farms. This idea of transparency organically evolved to the way we worked in other areas too – our baristas are always present to discuss brewing tips, our customer service team are there to walk you through your coffee questions, and our roasting team to show you how they work.

We are consistently researching, testing and implementing best practices throughout our business to raise the bar. Making refractometers essential for our cafe brewing, holding advanced sensory learnings for junior roasters, and experimenting with processing at the farm level are just some of the ways that our highly skilled team is constantly evolving the way Indian coffee is treated, experienced or communicated about.
SOURCING THE BEST COFFEE BEANS DOES NOT GUARANTEE GOOD COFFEE.
Although we have a dedicated sourcing team for green beans and have invested in establishing quality roasting parameters, we know that a lot more steps still have to fall into place to brew a good cup. This is why we have worked hard to create coffee training centres to impart leading procedures such as equipping baristas with assessing and reporting tools for precision brewing, and cupping every single batch that is roasted to ensure consistent quality.

HOWARD SCHULTZ
Howard’s journey with Starbucks began in 1981, when he first walked the doors of the whole-bean shop in Seattle’s Pike Place. There, he tasted his first sip of Sumatra and was invited into conversation with connoisseurs who took great care in not only finding and roasting the finest quality coffee, but also sharing their passion with others. In 1982, when Starbucks had only four stores, Howard moved to Seattle from his native New York and joined the company as director of operations and marketing.
Howard earned a bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University. He spent three years in sales and marketing with Xerox Corporation. Before joining Starbucks, he was Vice President and General Manager of Hammarplast U.S.A., a Swedish housewares company.
Howard retired from the company in 2018 but rejoined Starbucks as interim chief executive officer and a member of the company’s Board of Directors on April 4, 2022. In 2023, Howard took on the role of chairman emeritus and stepped down from the Board of Directors.
